The films below were made by teenagers from Derbyshire. Having been brought up without family by social services the group described themselves as 'care-leavers'. At 17 years old they were about to leave the care and support of social services and face the world at large. The films were made on two weekend residentals at the Arvon centre in Shropshire and in Matlock, Derbyshire. They were all screened at the Videotivoli festival in Tampere, Finland. The group all flew out to attend the festival and found themesleves swimming in a frozen lake.
